AI Voice Cloning
Clone your voice with AI, then let it read any script

How to clone your voice
1. Record or upload a sample
Speak for 30–60 seconds in a quiet room, or upload an existing clip of your voice. No studio needed — a phone or headset mic works.
2. Confirm consent and create
Name the voice and confirm you have the right to use it. Your cloned voice is ready in about two minutes.
3. Type a script and generate
Paste up to 5,000 characters, generate, listen, and download the MP3 for your video, podcast or course.
Tips for a natural-sounding clone
- Record in a quiet, soft-furnished room — a bedroom or a parked car is fine.
- Keep a steady distance from the microphone and a consistent volume.
- Read a full paragraph with small pauses between sentences, in the tone you want to hear back.
- Use one speaker only — no music, background TV or a second voice.
- If the result sounds off, try a longer, cleaner 45–60 second sample.
Cloned voice or stock AI voice?
A cloned voice sounds like you, so your audience hears the same person across videos, podcasts and courses — even in languages you don't speak. A stock voice needs no recording and is better when you want a neutral narrator or many different characters. SpeakScribe offers both: Voice Clone on Pro and Agency, and 400+ stock text-to-speech voices on every plan.
What creators use voice cloning for
YouTube narration
Fix a line or voice a whole video without re-recording, and keep the same voice on every upload.
Multilingual content
Publish versions of your content in other languages, still in your own voice.
Courses and training
Update lessons by editing the script instead of booking another recording session.
Podcasts and ads
Record intros, sponsor reads and pick-ups in minutes, even when you are away from your mic.
Built for consent, not impersonation
Voice cloning is powerful, so SpeakScribe treats misuse seriously. Every cloned voice requires you to confirm it is your own voice or that the speaker gave explicit permission, and we keep a record of that confirmation. Voice Clone is available only to paid Pro and Agency accounts, the number of voices you can create is limited, and every file carries an "AI-generated voice" label. Impersonation, fraud and harassment lead to account termination. If you believe your voice was cloned without permission, contact audioflowteam@speakscribe.me. Read the full rules in our Terms of Service.
AI voice cloning FAQ
How much audio do I need to clone my voice?
At least 10 seconds of clear speech. 30–60 seconds from one speaker in a quiet room gives the most natural result. Samples up to 3 minutes are accepted; anything beyond 90 seconds is trimmed because it does not improve quality.
Is AI voice cloning legal?
Cloning your own voice, or the voice of someone who has given you explicit permission, is legal in most countries. Cloning someone without consent — especially to impersonate, mislead or defraud — can break privacy, publicity, fraud and consumer-protection laws. SpeakScribe requires you to confirm consent for every voice and records that confirmation.
Can I clone someone else's voice?
Only with their explicit, informed permission for the purpose you intend. Cloning celebrities, public figures or anyone without permission is not allowed, even for parody, and leads to account termination.
Which languages can a cloned voice speak?
More than 80 languages, including English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Arabic and Hindi. You can record your sample in one language and generate speech in another.
How long does it take to create a cloned voice?
Usually 1–2 minutes after you upload the sample. Generating speech with a ready voice takes a few seconds for a short paragraph.
How much does voice cloning cost?
Voice cloning is included in the Pro plan ($3/month: 3 voices, 50,000 characters per month) and the Agency plan ($6/month: 10 voices, 100,000 characters per month). It is not available on the Free or Starter plans.
What happens to my voice sample?
Your sample is stored privately and used only to create and run your cloned voice, which is processed by our voice provider, Fish Audio. When you delete the voice, the sample and the voice model are permanently deleted.
Is the generated audio marked as AI?
Yes. Every MP3 carries an "AI-generated voice" label in its metadata. When you publish cloned audio where listeners could be misled, you should also say it is AI-generated.
